Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs put on an offensive clinic in the team’s 41-31 victory over Tom Brady and the Buccaneers on “Sunday Night Football.”
In the sixth meeting between the two star quarterbacks, Mahomes stole the show with 247 passing yards and three touchdowns. His favorite target, tight end Travis Kelce, also stood out with nine catches for 92 yards and a touchdown.
Brady (39 for 52, 385 yards, three TDs, no INTs) and the Bucs’ offense put in a respectable performance, but Tampa Bay’s defense was overwhelmed by its opponent’s offensive barrage.
The win by Kansas City leaves Mahomes and Brady tied 3-3 in their all-time head-to-head meetings. It also marks possibly the last time the two will meet on an NFL field.
